Monumentally Busy (to quote a friend who likes to quote movies)

Hello Everyone, We hope all is well. We’ve been busy (but then whohasn’t) with baby showers, bridal showers, weddings, first birthdays, photo shoots, and Walkamerica, which brings us to the business at hand.“Tis” the season for the March Of Dimes Walkathon, and time to ask fordonations again. This is the part we hate doing, for the organizationwe love).

As you all may know, our Son, Vaughn was a Preemie.
Heis doing wonderful now at almost 2 yrs. old, harassing his Sister andclimbing the furniture. However there ARE Preemies that AREN’T asfortunate. They (and their Parent) are the ones we are walking for.

Weknow that if you (or someone close to you) haven’t experienced this,it’s very difficult to relate. To give you a perspective, we receivedsome paperwork for our Family Team (Vaughn’s Victory) and in it was adescription of babies born so early that they were no longer than adollar bill and weighed less than a can of soda. Chilling! SinceVaughn has been growing and hitting his milestones, we lose sight ofhow he came into the world and who helped him.

O.K. enoughdramatics, if you can, please donate. We know it’s been a tough yearfor some of our friends (we understand that all too well) but even ifyou can give one or two dollars, that would be appreciated. Our Teamthis year is smaller, (two members can’t walk because, they are due tohave their babies before/after the walk date). Therefore the few leftmust work (beg) that much more, if we want to beat our total from lastyear, which was 2400.00. If you can donate please go to my personalpage in the sidebar under "thing I've sunk my teeth into." Please alsoknow that some of you may work for a company that will match youdonation, and if you know someone who would be willing to donate, please pass this along to them.

Thanks
The walk is on April 30th.
